What types of Micro liquid pumpare there?

      管理员   2024-11-08
Micro liquid pumps are small-scale pumps designed for precise and controlled fluid transfer, often used in medical devices, laboratory equipment, and other precision applications. There are several types of micro liquid pumps available, each with its own design and operating principles. Here are some common types:

1. **Diaphragm Pumps**:
   - These pumps use a flexible diaphragm to move fluid. They are known for their gentle pumping action and are suitable for handling delicate fluids without causing shear or foaming.
   - They are available in both peristaltic (oscillating) and reciprocating (piston-like) diaphragm pump designs.

2. **Peristaltic Pumps**:
   - Also known as hose or tube pumps, these operate by squeezing a flexible tube to push the fluid through. The tube is wrapped around a rotor with several rotating elements (cvents), which compress and release the tube to move the fluid.
   - They are ideal for applications requiring high precision and gentle handling of fluids.

3. **Micropump**:
   - This is a general term for small pumps that can be designed in various configurations. Micropumps can be positive displacement or non-positive displacement, and they can be used for both liquids and gases.
   - They may use principles similar to diaphragm or peristaltic pumps but are specifically designed for smaller volumes and lower flows.

4. **MEMS Pumps** (Microelectromechanical Systems):
   - MEMS pumps are microscale pumps that use microfabrication techniques. They can be positive displacement or non-positive displacement and are often used in medical devices and lab equipment.
   - They can be designed to be hermetic or non-hermetic and can handle a wide range of fluids.

5. **Piezoelectric Pumps**:
   - These pumps use piezoelectric crystals that expand and contract when an electric voltage is applied. This expansion and contraction moves the fluid through small channels in the pump.
   - They are highly precise and can operate at very high frequencies, making them suitable for small volume applications.

6. **Electroosmotic (EO) Pumps**:
   - Also known as electrokinetic pumps, these use an electric field to create a flow of fluid. The fluid flows in response to the applied electric field, which can be controlled to regulate the flow rate.
   - They are often used in microfluidic systems and are suitable for handling small volumes of delicate samples.

7. **Silicon Pumps**:
   - Silicon microfluidic pumps are made using microfabrication techniques and can be used for both liquids and gases. They can be designed to be compact and efficient, suitable for integration into microfluidic devices.

Each type of micro liquid pump has its own advantages and is chosen based on factors such as the required flow rate, pressure, viscosity of the fluid, compatibility with the fluid, and the specific application requirements.
